Hello!
I have now converted two Navitar 25mm 0.95, the first one as described here, but I could not understand why it should be needed to remove the ring on the back of the lens, the only function of this ring is to hold the glass in place. Therefore I tryed to make it focus to infinity without removing this ring. It is just to adjust the focus when you remount the lens after the sanding of the focus ring. The lens is now focusing to infinity without removing this ring.

I now also have the first one for sale, the one I also removed the ring that hold the glass.

Hi Steve. This should be the same for all micro 4/3 cameras as the issue is with the flange distance.

Do you have any idea if these same steps are necessary for the Olympus E-PL1? Specifically, the last step of removing the rear retainer and epoxying the rear element?

There is a slight vignetting. But it seems that the only fast lens to offer better coverage is the SOM 25mm f0.95 or the Switar 26mm f1.1 which go for 1500/- USD. This is the best deal out there.

So does the Navitar 25mm f0.95 work on the GH1 without vignetting? I keep reading that 1″ format C-mount lenses produce a 16mm image circle and the GH1 sensor is larger than that corner-to-corner.

There is Video bitrate, audio bitrate and avg, max bitrate. Mediainfo is not perfect and can stuff up sometimes.
The best way is to divide the size of the clip in MB by the length in milliseconds.
40 Mbps sound right though.

hi. i did the hack and tested it with the STAR CHART 2K EXTRACT.
in mediainfo it shows a bitrate of 40.7Mbps. the strange thing is, that there is also written: maximum bitrate: 16.6Mbps.
is this normal or is something wrong with the hack?

i dont have the Limiting Bitrate option in the AVCHD Compression options

i used v3.40d with the GH1__132.bin

is that a problem? coundnt find anything about this on the web…:-(
